Michael Brice, Director of Operations
Michael
Brice, our Director of Operations, began his career in
1986 working with The Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation
as a Video Editor in news. Within a year, he was directing
the primetime newscast as well as the daily sports show.
He then moved on to being in charge of Interactive Projects
(including multi-language videos), editing special project
videos and trained Videographers nationally for Carnival
Cruise Lines.
In 1997, Michael became head of Production at BW Productions,
where he worked on projects for companies such as Boeing,
Motorola and the U.S. Postal Service. Two years after,
he moved on to FOX News (WSVN 7) where he worked closely
with Coordinators and Producers on the “Today in
Florida Show”. Michael then went on to coordinate,
edit and help produce the morning news show on NBC (WTVJ
6). He also worked on several special projects for NBC,
including the 2000 Olympics.
In 2001, Michael proceeded to produce and edit National
and Network Television programs, receiving a Telly Award
for a current Travel and Recreation show. He worked on
several corporate projects for companies such as Dupont,
IBM, Compaq, Lockheed Martin, Mac Tools, Black and Decker,
Kawasaki and Nissan Forklift, just to name a few. He also
worked on medical projects for National Television, as
well as Discovery Channel’s “The Health Network”
and business projects for CNN and FOX Business Network.
Michael,
who is certified by Avid Technology, currently holds a
degree in Video Production and Music Business from the
Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale and a certificate in Media
Electronics from the College of Arts, Science and Technology.
He now has nine Telly Awards and 1 Aegis Award.
