Renato Lombardi, Director of Photography

Renato’s career started back in 1987 filming Soap Operas such as “Paloma”, "Bajo tu piel” and “Marielena”. He has worked on several documentaries for the Travel Channel, Animal Planet and E! Entertainment which led him to South Africa, Peru, the Bahamas and Venezuela, to name a few.

Our DP’s experience took him to France, Spain and Puerto Rico to cover the “World Cup Football” (Soccer), and events for MTV, VH1, Discovery Channel and HD Net television programs. He worked on feature and short films such as “Error Fatal”, “Cercania”, The Painting and television series such as “San Angel”, “Al filo de la ley” and “Prosieben” (German TV correspondent DP).

Renato worked on interviews and EPK’s with an impressive roster of celebrities like Gloria Estafan, Ricky Martin, Julio Inglesias, John Singleton, Luciano Pavarotti, Shakira, Celia Cruz, Christina Aguilera, John Secada, Soraya and many more. He speaks fluent English, Spanish and proficient Portugese.

Renato holds a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Film and also in Communication Sciences. His skills include: Camera Op., Lighting Design, Video Steady cam, Jimmy Jib, Dolly and Handheld. Works with Film, High Definition, Digi-Beta and Beta-SP formats.
